Giancarlo’s is naturally not only another restaurant on Main Street, it is beyond all restaurant expectations. When you walk through the doors of Giancarlo’s there is a certain vibe that is felt. A feeling that you are special. A feeling that your experience has simply just begun. Every single person that walks through our restaurant is looked at as the most important customer. This is an experiential based business, which means every thing that we do is for the customers and having them looking forward to the next time they come in. We are truly one-of-a-kind because of our enthusiastic chefs. After you taste our homemade food, you will be ready to make your next reservation right away. Our kitchen staff is absolutely massive. The time, energy, and love that goes into creating a delicious meal at Giancarlo’s is exceptional. Our chefs do not stop creating and improving until the finished product is perfect. We are so fortunate to have chefs that not only create food, but are devoted every day to the presentation, taste, and customer satisfaction.
There truly is something so special about being apart of the Giancarlo’s family. We are not just wait staff or kids running around dropping food at your tables. The staff at our restaurant have been hand picked as they hold passion for the success of every single occasion. The workers at Giancarlo’s understand what our experience really is, and that every table has a story.
“The first qualification of the foundation to working at Giancarlo’s starts with a smile. When an applicant walks in smiling, they are most likely hired. A smile can be understood in every language, it’s welcoming. We try to get a feel of an applicant to see if they have a sense of care. You can’t train someone how to care for others. It is like common sense, you either have that part of you or you don’t. Working in the restaurant business, it is evident that employees rely on one another to build trust, confidence, and help grow out of each individual person's’ shell. Co- workers are welcoming and become leaders, so that true bonds are created. The same care that that is being given to the customer's, servers need to have for one another through kindness, care, and respect. At the end of the day we want our employees to have fun, which leads to the customers having fun, which brings us back to the simple act of a smile. The most exciting part of it all, is not the preparation to the foundation to any service, but being able to have the skill to react in the very second. The thrill in the restaurant business is to think fast, multi-task, and putting all of your physical and logical skills to use. “The key with the environment at Giancarlo’s is you don't need any past experience working in the restaurant business. What we look for is personality, natural energy, enthusiasm. This creates a vibrant atmosphere for the employees and the customers. We want to find people who look forward to working here and want to make their mark, achieve, and grow.We want workers who have the “why can’t that be us” attitude, opposed to those who approach this as "just a job, serving, or only bartending." The most fun thing since we’ve been around is seeing kids start and it’s their first job, now they're doing amazing things and truly growing within the company. Max Downing started off as a dishwasher here, but as he was washing dishes he learned the menu and had his end goal in mind as a server. Now he is one of our top servers at 19! Fred has been here since the beginning. He started off as a Biology major, but switched to business. Fred wanted to be apart of the operations, behind the scenes, and inventory aspect of the restaurant business and now he has evolved into being “in charge.” Joe Gomez, has been here since day one also and is always evolving in Giancarlo’s. He started as a 25 year old who would have fun serving and evolved into a family man. It is absolutely amazing to see the change in the servers as they grow up.
