Wedding 7.15.17

On July 15th, we had a beautiful 150 person wedding on an unbelievable farm. With a mix of Giancarlo’s and elegance, we turned this occasion into perfection. All servers needed to be aware of the thought out plan that went into the success of this night. Our kitchen was able stationary in back of the barn, where we set up our full service kitchen for this event. The personalities of the bride and groom were evident throughout the night, with the colors, table assignments, flower centerpieces, and the beautiful backyard farm location.

The day started off for Giancarlo’s around 12pm on our arrival to the wedding venue. After we took a look around the wedding space, we got started on tackling the table settings first. All of the table placements were rented, so everything was there waiting for us. The color scheme was gold, silver, and white with a hint of pink and purple in the flowers. While some servers were finishing up the table settings, others started working on the buffet and bar set up. As the afternoon moved on, the kitchen staff arrived to start setting up and prepping the food. Before the ceremony, there was a small cocktail hour which included drinks and appetizers. While the ceremony was taking place Giancarlo’s was finishing up last touches. As the ceremony concluded, the wedding cake was then moved into the tent for all of the guests to see upon arrival. This beautiful cake was located on top of a log, in the center of the tent. Table place cards were attached to small plants for the guests to take home. During the cocktail hour, bread was placed on each table, as the guests moved to their seats. Our buffet was extraordinary. This display started with a fully edible quinoa-beet salad garden created by our talented chef, along with our signature carani salad. The guests then were given the option of our sliced tenderloin or blackened salmon, along with grilled green beans and fingerling potatoes on the side. We also offered mac n cheese, chicken fingers, and french fries to the children guests. This buffet really complimented the atmosphere of the event. After the bride and groom cut into the cake, we plated and served to each guest. There was also homemade cookies and an ice cream bar offered so everyone treated themselves. The rest of the evening was full of dancing and celebrating with the happy couple.

This wedding was a beautiful occasion. The communication between our kitchen and servers was evident throughout the entirety of the night. The bride and groom were smiling throughout the entire night, which meant that we did everything we could to contribute to their happiness.
