University of Buffalo Catering 6.22.17

On June 22, Giancarlo’s had the honor of catering an event at the University of Buffalo stadium to raise money and awareness about UB Athletics and UB football. This was a huge event for UB. The alumni had a packed night of events. As the men first arrived they registered in the hallway on the first floor in front of the locker rooms, where we set up a wine and beer bar. This was a time for the alumni to catch up with old friends and UB coaching staff. During the lovely cocktail hour we provided our signature passed appetizers of delicious sweet and spicy chicken crisps and pineapple salsa and guac chips. During the mingling of the cocktail event, Giancarlo's was prepping our kitchen area in one of the conference rooms right off of the hallway.

After about a half hour the guests moved to the locker room for information of the athletic program at UB and changes that have been made along with a full tour of the stadium. While this was going on, Giancarlo’s moved upstairs in one of the club rooms, where we would host a double large buffet and full bar. As the guests started arriving after their tour of the stadium, it was fully packed and everyone was ready to eat! Our tasteful buffet included mac n cheese, pulled pork, and our famous focaccia bread, and for dessert our homemade eclairs. With the view of the UB stadium in the background, it called for a perfect evening of college memories.
