Lunch Specials: August 2-8th

It’s another week at Giancarlo’s which means new delicious lunch specials.

If you love a simple yet flavorful side dish, I have the perfect lunch for you. This week we are featuring a Grilled Watermelon & Feta Salad, which I am dreaming about right now. This salad will have sliced grilled watermelon and zucchini, along with whipped feta, homemade lime/basil and mint couscous, topped off with toasted pine nuts. This side dish is the perfect fix for a starter or lunch entree. This salad screams summer on the patio.

We are featuring a Cajun Grilled Chicken & Fresh Cherry Salad. This flavorful salad is full with crumbled blue cheese, fresh cherries, cajun grilled chicken, along with homemade honey & wholegrain mustard vinaigrette, topped with grilled cherries and sunflower seeds. The bright colors in this dish are very inviting.

Our Tomato & Shrimp Po Boy is absolutely mouthwatering. This sandwich is blended with cornmeal crusted fried green tomato, grilled shrimp, smoked tomato aioli all loaded on a homemade grilled sesame bread. This sandwich would be perfect to split with alongside our grilled watermelon & feta special.

Last but certainly not least our unbelievable pizza this week is our Sicilian Royal. This delicious pizza includes soppressata, homemade crumbled Italian sausage, prosciutto, along with herbed roasted garlic ricotta, roasted cherry tomatoes, and topped with aged provolone and mozzarella. This pizza will work it’s magic thanks to our massive brick oven pizza oven.

These lunch specials will taste even better while sitting on our beautiful patio or our lively dining room. After just one bite, you will be begging us to feature them for another week.
